R&D facilities
Technology Development Center
Our Technology Development Center began operations in April 2020 after we brought together testing equipment at our Shiga Plant, which we have made central to our manufacturing departments, with the aim of enhancing product quality, improving task efficiency, shortening development lead times, and strengthening our development capabilities.
The center comprises a laboratory building, equipped with bench testing equipment; an office building, with an indoor test course and offices; and an outdoor test course for test runs of forklifts with carrying capacities of up to 43 tonnes.
Automation Demo Center
Automation Demo Center is a facility designed to allow visitors to experience for themselves a number of the solutions we offer, including how we link devices and equipment for greater automation and autonomy or how manned forklifts can cooperate with automated devices.
It also focuses on the prerequisite to these, namely securing safety and security, by acting as a venue for forklift driving technique courses and within the exhibition space for practical skills classes and exams.
